B. MARGINAL REVENUE AND MONOPOLY

In this section we will consider the most extreme form of imperfect competition, monopoly. Our analysis will illustrate the major drawbacks of imperfect completion, which are that it restricts output and crawlspace. As an essential part of this analysis we will define a new concept, marginal revenue, which will turn out to have important applications for oligopolists and perfect competitors as well.
